Apacer Products Warranty Policy
APACER TECHNOLOGY INC.(hereinafter referred to "Apacer") warrants that its products are free from defects in material and workmanship within the product warranty duration. Subject to the conditions and limitations set forth below, Apacer will, at its option, either repair or replace any part of its products that prove defective by reason of improper workmanship or materials. Repaired parts or replacement products will be provided by Apacer on an exchange basis, and will be either new or refurbished to be functionally equivalent to new. This warranty does not cover marred cabinets or any damage to this product that results from accident, abuse, misuse, lightening, fire, water, natural or personal disaster, or any unauthorized disassembly, repair, or modification.

The Warranty of Accessory Products
- Hub:Limited One-year Warranty
- Adapter:Limited One-year Warranty
- Card Reader:Limited Two-year Warranty
- OTG Card Reader:Limited One-year Warranty

- Discontinued products not listed in the warranty are no longer covered as their warranty has expired.
- Product life has indicated the life cycle of product. When Apacer product is End-Of-Life in the market, Apacer will announce the discontinued product on Apacer website as the termination of product lifetime.
This warranty covers only repair or replacement of defective Apacer products, as provided above. Apacer is not liable for, and does not cover under warranty, any costs associated with servicing and/or the installation of Apacer products. Apacer will not discontinue support of its products, nor obsolete its products, as long as there are component materials available in the marketplace and reasonable customer demand for the products. In case to have above condition, Customer agrees that Apacer delivers a similar product in return.
2.Warranty period:
- To obtain warranty service, product must be returned through the shop/store which it was purchased.
- This limited warranty applies only to the original end user customer of the product for so long as the original end user customer owns the product. This limited warranty is non-transferable.
- This warranty does not cover if the serial number is removed or tampered by anyone other than Apacer, and this service is only available within the local country due to import/export requirements.
- RMA process is for warranty replacement/repair of defective product only. To refund or receive a credit for your product, please return it to the shop/store from which it was purchased.
3.Out of warranty (declaration):
Apacer does its best to be accurate but occasionally mistakes do occur. Apacer is not responsible for any typographical, photographic or technical errors. Apacer will try to advise you of any such errors affecting you via email confirmation when you place your order. Note: Products and packaging depicted may differ from stock available at time of shipment; Apacer reserves the right to substitute equivalent items.
4.Simple identification method of warranty period:
Apacer disclaims all warranties either expresses or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Apacer shall have no liability to anyone for incidental or consequential damages merchandise which is sold "AS IS". Apacer makes no warranty as to the performance of any merchandise sold.
The product must be used with devices that conform to the recommended industry standards. Apacer will not be liable for damages resulting from a third party device that causes the Product to fail. Apacer shall in no event be liable for any consequential, indirect, or incidental damages, lost profits, lost business investments lost goodwill, or interference with business relationships as a result of lost data.

If the consumer returns the original product due to defects in the original material or manufacturing within seven days after purchasing the Apacer product (subject to the date of the invoice), the Apacer store will provide a replacement service for the new product, but the product must be returned in its complete packaging. For mail processing, the cost of freight will be borne by Apacer, and products should only be sent to the Apacer Consumer Mail Processing Center. Please call to obtain the mailing method and authorization code or repair number before sending.

Apacer Memory cards products provide a product warranty for one of the following periods, whichever occurs first:
- A five-year product warranty starting from the original consumer's purchase date.
- The total consumption of the SSD’s total bytes written (TBW) read by Apacer through the Apacer SSD Utility "SSD Health Status."
Please refer to the TBW information table for the TBW value of each product.

- Limited product lifetime warranty throughout the life of the product until 1 year after the date the product is declared discontinued. Please refer to End of the product life cycle warranty list.
- Apacer SSD Utility can be downloaded free of charge through the Apacer website (URL: https://www.apacer.com/en/download/personal-downloads/index/software/ssd_software).
- The calculation of the product warranty period starts from the original purchase date. General consumers are also requested to proactively submit purchase date certification documents or receipts to prove the original purchase date of the goods (such as warranty card or purchase invoice certificate) when requesting the warranty to determine whether the repaired goods are still within the warranty period. For customers or consumers who have not submitted supporting documents, Apacer reserves the right to approve acceptance or not.
- For mail processing, only Apacer Consumer Mail Processing Center can receive the package, and it must be returned in the original box when sending it for repair to avoid damage. The shipping fee is paid by the user. Apacer provides a shipping guarantee, but the customer must send it to the Apacer Repair Center. Apacer will not be responsible for any loss or damage during transportation, and the customer is required to insure the product themselves before receiving the goods from the Apacer Repair Center.
3.Out of warranty (declaration):
This warranty does not apply to damage caused by accidents, negligence, man-made damage, improper use, installation, self-repair without the authorization of the company, altered parts or disassembly, natural disasters or power problems. Product compatibility issues are only handled for Apacer's own products (own brand), and compatibility issues of non-Apacer's own products are not covered by the warranty. For any data in the hardware, the company is only responsible for maintenance and testing, and does not provide data rescue and backup services, and is not responsible for any loss of data due to any factors during the shipping process to and from the repair facility. Accessories, packaging materials, consumables, etc. that are not included in the main body are also not included in the scope of repair services. Apacer does not provide the service of product delivery with complete packaging. The product warranty provided by Apacer is a regional warranty, not a global warranty. Apacer product information stickers (warranty labels, barcodes, etc.) are affixed to the product body: please do not tear them off,
otherwise the warranty will be invalid. Second-hand resale products, use as plug-in testing equipment, etc. are also not covered by the warranty.
The warranty conditions do not cover the following usage scenarios:
Casino gaming, cryptocurrency mining or farming, video recording, security, monitoring, network surveillance cameras, car video/audio, continuous video/audio set-top boxes, continuous access devices such as servers, test equipment, copying tools, or other use environments that exceed the specifications.
When the product you purchased exceeds the warranty period or the warranty clause does not apply, Apacer will still provide related maintenance services within the scope of the capacity permit. For products with a lifetime warranty, Apacer will continue to provide product services until the production of the parts of this product is discontinued, but various repair and replacement services will be charged for labor costs and parts replacement costs. This warranty only applies to the original purchaser of the product. The rights and interests of this warranty are non-transferable rights. Any changes to the product warranty and period listed in this clause will not be independently notified. Except for the "Limited Liability Warranty" in writing, Apacer has not made any express or implied, oral or written performance statement, warranty or guarantee for the "Product", including but not limited to any (a) commercial merchantability, (b) applicability for a specific purpose or (c) implied guarantee due to performance progress, transaction progress or industry conventions. This product must be used with standard equipment. For damage caused by other manufacturers' equipment, Apacer will not be liable for warranty. For any incidental or incidental damage, loss of profits, business investment and goodwill, or damage caused by loss of data, as well as damage or malfunction of other company's equipment with this product, Apacer is not liable for compensation. In any case, Apacer shall not be liable for any person's legal responsibility for the purchase of substitute products or loss of data, nor shall it be responsible for any indirect, special, concomitant, derivative or other damages arising from the purchase, use or performance of the "product", regardless of whether the user has ever been informed of the possibility of such damage. Typesetting, picture and technical errors:
Regarding typography, pictures and technology, although occasional errors may occur, Apacer will do its best to keep it correct. Apacer will not take any responsibility for the above-mentioned errors. When you place an order, Apacer will try to inform you of errors that may affect you by e-mail. Please note: The description of the product and packaging may vary due to the inventory at the time of delivery. Apacer reserves the right to substitute similar products.

Warranty barcode
The serial numbers 3~6 represent the year and month of the factory manufacturing date. E.g:
"S/N: 77 191223456" means that the manufacturing date is the 12th week (March) of 2019
"S/N: 88 200223456" means the manufacturing date is the second week of 2020 (January)
Example: If there is a product serial number 281730100734, its manufacturing date is the 30th week of 2017. The product will be guaranteed until the 30th week of 2020. (Calculation method for three-year warranty)
Note: When the product is repaired or replaced, the warranty period is calculated based on the original product extension for one month.

- For mail processing, only Apacer Consumer Mail Processing Center can receive the package, and it must be returned in the original box when sending it for repair to avoid damage. The shipping fee is paid by the user. Apacer provides a shipping guarantee, but the customer must send it to the Apacer Repair Center. Apacer will not be responsible for any loss or damage during transportation, and the customer is required to insure the product themselves before receiving the goods from the Apacer Repair Center.
3.Out of warranty (declaration):
This warranty does not apply to damage caused by accidents, negligence, man-made damage, improper use, installation, self-repair without the authorization of the company, altered parts or disassembly, natural disasters or power problems. Product compatibility issues are only handled for Apacer's own products (own brand), and compatibility issues of non-Apacer's own products are not covered by the warranty. The warranty conditions do not cover the following usage scenarios:
Casino gaming, cryptocurrency mining or farming, video recording, security, monitoring, network surveillance cameras, car video/audio, continuous video/audio set-top boxes, continuous access devices such as servers, test equipment, copying tools, or other use environments that exceed the specifications.
When the product you purchased exceeds the warranty period or the warranty clause does not apply, Apacer will still provide related maintenance services within the scope of the capacity permit. For products with a lifetime warranty, Apacer will continue to provide product services until the production of the parts of this product is discontinued, but various repair and replacement services will be charged for labor costs and parts replacement costs. 4.Simple identification method of warranty period:
The simple way for consumers to judge the purchase date is as follows, based on the manufacturing date of the Apacer warranty label plus 1 to 3 months. The repaired product includes a free after-sales guarantee for defective products due to the same reason within 3 months.

The serial numbers 3~6 represent the year and month of the factory manufacturing date. E.g:
"S/N: 77 191223456" means that the manufacturing date is the 12th week (March) of 2019
"S/N: 88 200223456" means the manufacturing date is the second week of 2020 (January)

Apacer Products Warranty Policy
APACER TECHNOLOGY INC.(hereinafter referred to "Apacer") warrants that its products are free from defects in material and workmanship within the product warranty duration. Subject to the conditions and limitations set forth below, Apacer will, at its option, either repair or replace any part of its products that prove defective by reason of improper workmanship or materials. Repaired parts or replacement products will be provided by Apacer on an exchange basis, and will be either new or refurbished to be functionally equivalent to new. This warranty does not cover marred cabinets or any damage to this product that results from accident, abuse, misuse, lightening, fire, water, natural or personal disaster, or any unauthorized disassembly, repair, or modification.
1.New product cooling-off period:
- If the consumer has a refund service, please contact the original purchase store with the invoice.
After the purchase of the new product during the cooling-off period (within seven days), if there is a product compatibility problem, the company agrees to replace it. Please attach the original packaging and a copy of the invoice after applying for the return and obtaining the number. - If the consumer returns the original product due to defects in the original material or manufacturing within seven days after purchasing the Apacer product (subject to the date of the invoice), the Apacer store will provide a replacement service for the new product, but the product must be returned in its complete packaging. For mail processing, the cost of freight will be borne by Apacer, and products should only be sent to the Apacer Consumer Mail Processing Center.
